The purrs and clucks are very natural and easy. If i liked the lights out aluminum call then i would get a lights out slate or ceramic for a more mellow and subtle tone and close quiet talk. The workmanship is first rate and the sound is clear crisp sharp and all turkey. Each call is paired with a striker that produces the best sound for the individual call.

Sorry for the long post guys but i am very pleased right now. I have used a myriad of calls over the years but i have never been more pleased with the sound that this call makes. The call and striker are lightweight and the striker is perfectly balanced and shaped. The 2 piece body of the call is turned from nicely colored sycamore and separated by a walnut ring.

My complaint is that the call is so very danged nice now it is nudging my old favorites toward the back pockets of the turkey vest lol. This call is made of cherry burl and features a couple of worm holes filled with copper powder and ca glue. Consider a ceramic call to fill out your friction collection.
